Things that were planned, but not added

• Due to technical issues, the model was never finished. The parts that were planned, but not made are: random tow hook, ABS # DUAL AIR BAG sticker on the rear windshield, boot actuators, fuel cap, glass markings, carpets, sunlight covers, random fire extinguisher in the boot, random buttons on the steering wheel, random armrest, floor texture, random spare wheel in the boot, much more details inside the boot, rear shelf, indicators on the dashboard – all those parts did not appear in the final model. The picture on the right side shows information given to Lazlow555 during the work of the model.

Random parts

• Model does not have any random parts, even when such were planned (6 parts).

Costs

• Model was not co-financed by sponsors, it was fully paid by creator of darewnoo.pl.

Mistakes and bugs in model

• Slightly too large rims,

• Slightly too flat front,

• Perturbed shape of the headlights,

• The space between CDX badge and the indicator is too large,

• At some angles, the engine can be visible through the lower part of the windshield (especially when it’s broken),

• Even though there is a texture for the emergency lights button, it was not used in the final model.

Curiosities related to the working progress of the model

• The work on this model took place from December 26, 2014 to March 29, 2015 (with breaks).

Information about number plates

• AM on white plates stands for TAcuMa. 75 is an accidental number. Since Tacuma had it debut in Poland in 2001, the black plates are not available. It is the third model to feature an additional plate in its folder – with t

Base model

• It was a base model, but no other version was made based on it.

Differences to other subversion of the simillar model

Original dimensions

• Model was based on original dimensions (4350 x 1630 x 1755).

Parts and textures prepared by darewnoo

• clock texture, VIN plate texture, glass markings (unused) sticker on the front seat, H,M,S letters on the clock, PWR, MODE, SEEK inscriptions for random buttons on the steering wheel (unused) and orange stripes on the rear windshield. The pic on the right does show all those textures.

Other curiosities

• The work on Tacuma nearly caused the end of cooperation with Lazlow due to a lot of misunderstandings about correct shape of Tacuma’s front. Due to this incident, the work have delayed by three days.

• Until the final textures were corrected, the Tacuma’s exterior did not look so good. The final texture editing really played it for the models favour (especially it was about headlights and taillights).

• During the work on this model, there were two breaks, where one of them lasted in over a month.

• 1.6 engine was actually not available in CDX version, but due to technical issues in the later part of the work progress, it could not be changed to the correct 2.0 engine.

• Initially, the model was supposed to have a leather upholstery (with an orange pattern; see first pic), but unfortunately, due to lack of proper photos, a standard grey upholstery was used (also an original one).

• Based on Tacuma, a Rezzo SE with seven seats was planned to be made, but because of the technical issues with the base model, that version had to be cancelled.

• Initially, it was supposed to be the first model where dashboard plastics should have a texture, but finally it wasn’t applied.

• A hole behind the headlights, visible when shot, was fixed just before release, just like incorrect passenger’s places on the rear seats.

• It is our first model which has over 120 000 poly.

• It is the first Tacuma made for GTA, as well as the first 3D model of it publicly available.

• It was our third model that was cut for the purposes of promotional video and photos (see second pic).

• The final textures were later corrected by me (darewnoo).

• The curiosities for this model were never available on old mods.darewnoo.pl (2012-2016).
